    Jason and Lucia’s story is built around a criminal partnership. After a simple job goes wrong, they get caught up in a conspiracy that stretches across Leonida.

    GTA 5 let you switch between three characters. Rockstar has shown both Jason and Lucia in gameplay, but it has not fully explained how switching works in GTA 6. We will update this page after launch.

    GTA 6 takes the series back to Vice City — but this time it is part of a whole state called Leonida, Rockstar’s version of Florida. Here is every region Rockstar has revealed before the November 19, 2026 launch.

    How big is the GTA 6 map?

    Rockstar has not given an official size. Reports and leaks suggest it is much larger than GTA 5’s Los Santos and Blaine County, but treat any exact number as unconfirmed until launch.

    Why Vice City again?

    Vice City first appeared in the original Grand Theft Auto and became a fan favorite with GTA: Vice City in 2002, which was set in the 1980s. GTA 6 brings it into the present day, with social media, viral videos and modern Florida culture as a big part of the setting.

    What the map means for cheats

    A bigger map with boats, swamps and highlands makes vehicle-spawn cheats more useful than ever. If GTA 6 includes cheats, expect boat and aircraft spawns to be popular. We will test them on launch day.

    Every pre-order includes the Vintage Vice City Pack: a 1955 Vapid Stanier sedan with a garage, outfits and hairstyles for Jason and Lucia, and a tropical weapon pattern. Digital pre-orders on the PlayStation Store or Microsoft Store also include one free month of GTA+, which renews at the normal price unless you cancel it.

    Digital pre-orders can start downloading on November 12, 2026, a week before launch, so you can play the moment the game unlocks.

    Physical copies don’t include a disc

    The physical edition comes with a download code inside the box, not a disc. It goes on sale November 12 so you can pre-load too. If you want a disc for collecting or reselling, know this before you buy.

    GTA 6 comes out on November 19, 2026, and one of the most-searched questions about it is simple: will it have cheat codes? Here is everything we actually know — and what we don’t — before launch.

    Short answer: Rockstar Games has not confirmed whether GTA 6 has cheat codes. Any “GTA 6 cheat list” you see online right now is made up or copied from GTA 5. We will test and publish real codes on launch day.

    Every main GTA game has had cheats

    Cheat codes have been part of Grand Theft Auto for decades, but the way you enter them keeps changing:

    • Rockstar has been quiet on the topic in its trailers and announcements.

    What GTA 6 cheats would probably look like

    If GTA 6 follows past games, expect cheats to work only in story mode, to switch off trophies and achievements while active, and to cover classics such as full health and armor, weapons, a lower wanted level and vehicle spawns.

    No. As of early November 2026, Rockstar Games has not said whether GTA 6 includes cheat codes. We will confirm on launch day, November 19, 2026.

    Are the GTA 6 cheat lists online real?

    No. Nobody outside Rockstar has played the finished game, so any list published before launch is guessed or copied from GTA 5.

    Will GTA 6 cheats work in GTA Online?

    Cheats have never worked in GTA Online, and we expect GTA 6 to follow the same rule. They are likely to work in story mode only.

    Will cheats disable trophies and achievements in GTA 6?

    In GTA 5, using cheats turned off trophies and achievements for that session. Rockstar hasn’t said how GTA 6 handles this yet.

    How will I enter GTA 6 cheats?

    Unknown until launch. Past games used button combos, phone numbers, PC console words or, in Red Dead Redemption 2, a menu. We will explain the exact method once the game is out.
